Having written and performed all the instruments on the single - other than drums which were handled by Matt Birkin - Timberwolf co-produced “Something That I Said’’ with Jackson Barclay (Tkay Maidza, Sarah Blasko). Lyrically, "Something That I Said" is unchartered territory for Timberwolf, with the track laid out like a candid conversation. As he explains, “Hopefully "Something That I Said" is the kind of song that encourages people to celebrate feeling imperfect and a little bit shit at making friends and finding lovers, because we're all really awkward and conflicted and anyone who thinks they're not is even more-so.”
